Start by uploading a photo of your handwritten recipe. This could be your grandmother's famous cookie recipe, a treasured family heirloom, or even a new favorite you want to preserve forever.
For best results, use a clear photo with good lighting and minimal shadows. With your recipe flat on the table, hold your phone directly over top of it, making sure to get the entire recipe in the shot. Make sure nothing obscures the recipe text, including dark shadows. Using the flash on your phone can help take a clear picture.
AI Processing
Our advanced AI technology analyzes your image and extracts the handwriting, preserving every unique stroke and flourish that makes your recipe special. The AI converts the image into a format optimized for laser engraving.

Manual Review
Every single order is personally reviewed by our staff. We check the quality of the extracted image, make any necessary adjustments, and ensure your recipe will engrave beautifully. If our AI couldn't process your image automatically, don't worry - we'll manually trace and prepare it for you.
Proof Approval
Before we start crafting, we'll send you a digital proof showing exactly how your recipe will appear on the cutting board. You'll have the opportunity to request any changes or approve the design.

Once approved, our skilled craftspeople get to work. We select a premium piece of American hardwood - either rich walnut or warm cherry - and carefully prepare it for engraving. Using precision laser technology, we etch your recipe into the wood with exquisite detail.
Finishing Touches
After engraving, each board is hand-finished with food-safe mineral oil to protect the wood and enhance its natural beauty. We inspect every board to ensure it meets our quality standards before carefully packaging it for shipping.
Delivered to Your Door
